Description
A five-speed manual transmission was subsequently installed along with Euro-spec bumpers, later-style valances, and 17â?³ Alpina-style wheels. Power comes from a 2. 5-liter M20 inline-six with a Dinan-tuned ECU, and the car has been repainted in its factory Cirrus Blue Metallic. Additional equipment includes a limited-slip differential, a replacement blue convertible soft top, headlight washers and wipers, yellow-lens fog lights, and heated front sport seats upholstered in Indigo leather as well as air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an M Tech steering wheel and shifter. The car left the factory in Cirrus Blue Metallic and was repainted in 1997. The replacement valances were repainted, 323i badging was added, and the third brake light was removed from the trunk lid. A November 1998 on the Carfax report lists an accident with another vehicle that resulted in damage to the rear as well as an April 2017 entry noting a collision with another vehicle that resulted in â??disabling damageâ? to the front of the car. A third accident recorded in a July 2019 entry caused â??minor damageâ? to the rear of the car. Bubbling is visible on the vinyl portion of the top boot, and a paint chip is present at the front-right corner of the trunk lid. The car is equipped with an independent suspension and power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with vented front rotors.
