Description
1967 Ford Mustang Fastback C Code 289 V8 that has its original numbers matching engine down to the carburetor with the original tag. This car is complete, and I found the original build sheet taped to the wiring behind the gauges. The build sheet is not in the best shape but I did find it. The car runs and drives, has brakes, and the electrical works. Headlights, taillights, wipers etc. The car is very complete, so you wonâ??t have to hunt down parts. The car is overall very solid but is not a show car obviously. The car would need an overall tune-up and inspection before being road worthy. The car has its original VIN tag on the door and VIN stamp on the driver side fender apron. The car comes with a clear title. This is a good original style complete car that could be driven as is or could be restored. Engine: C Code 289 2V V8 All original Original Carb with tag Original Intake, Heads and Shortblock 7A (January 1967) Date Codes all over the engine. Car was built January 27th, 1967. Transmission: Original C4 Automatic Rearend: 8â? with factory 2:79 gear Interior: Factory Red. Interior is complete. The seats do not have original upholstery, and the front seats appear to be from a 65-66 mustang. Has a folddown rear seat with trap door that has not been cut for speakers, and the larger quarter trim panels have not been cut for speakers wither which is good. Headliner is falling in the back. The interior is complete but needs some Upgrades and TLC. Glass: All glass is there and in great shape: Brakes: Drum brakes all the way around. Body: Complete body overall very straight. Really good gaps and body lines. Doors, hood, and trunk all open and close nicely. Windows roll up and down nicely. Paint is in fair condition. It could be driven as it is and looks great but itâ??s not a show car. Paint has defects, and is fading. The car is overall solid but it does have some areas that need attention. Battery apron, a few spots in the floor pans, a few places in the trunk pans, the trunk lid edge, lower front door spots. Torque box is in great condition and the frame rails are overall in great shape with just a few minor areas that need attention mostly in the very ends of the rear rails and passenger side front rail. Car has had some paint work before I can tell.
