Description
This 1968 Plymouth Road Runner coupe was built in February 1968 at the Lynch Road assembly plant in Detroit, Michigan with a 426ci Hemi V8 and a three-speed automatic transmission. The body was refinished in silver over a silver and black interior. Other equipment includes a 3. 23:1 rear end, dual exhaust, and chrome 17? American Racing wheels. This Road Runner was originally finished in Silver Metallic (AA1), and the car was refinished during a 2013 refurbishment that reportedly involved sheet metal repair. Features include chrome-finished bumpers, side mirrors, and trim. “Hemi” and “Road Runner” logos are affixed to the doors, hood, and trunk lid. Braking is carried out by a heavy-duty braking package with four-wheel drums. Bench seats front and rear are trimmed in silver with black inserts. Matching door panels are contrasted by a black dashboard and carpeting.
