Description
The 429ci V8 has been bored. 040? over and is fitted with Hooker headers, a Weiand aluminum intake manifold, a Comp camshaft, and MSD ignition. Shifting is through a four-speed manual Toploader transmission equipped with a Hurst shifter and a McLeod Racing clutch, and additional modifications include staggered Boze Forged wheels, lowered suspension, front disc brakes, FlowMaster mufflers, an Amish wood bed, JVC stereo, and a Vintage Air A/C system. The body is finished in the Chrysler shades of Sunburst Orange over Champagne Pearl and features a refinished Amish wood bed with a polished fuel cap, runners, and hardware. Additional brightwork includes chrome bumpers, side moldings, and dual side mirrors. A walk-around video can be viewed here. Boze forged wheels were custom-ordered and measure 18? up front and 20? out back and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires that measure 245/40 and 335/30 respectively. The truck rides lower than stock on Fatman Fabrications Low Rider independent front suspension with coil springs up front and leafs out back. The frame has reportedly been notched, and braking is handled by 11? General Motors front discs and Ford drums in the rear. The seats are upholstered in two-tone brown and gold with a matching center console with cupholders.
