1974 Ford Bronco Explorer 302

This 1974 Ford Bronco Explorer has been cosmetically and mechanically refurbished, which included repainting the exterior Brook Blue and refreshing the interior with blue vinyl and houndstooth cloth upholstery, replacement carpets and door panels, a RetroSound stereo, and an aftermarket air conditioning system. The 302ci V8 was fitted with an Edelbrock carburetor and intake manifold, and the three-speed automatic transmission was overhauled. Additional work included replacing braking, suspension, and exhaust components as well as the valve lifters, pushrods, timing chain, oil pump, fuel sending unit, fuel pump, water pump, and starter. During the refurbishment, the body was removed from the frame, the trim, window felts, window seals, and exterior lights were replaced, and the truck was repainted Brook Blue. Equipment includes a white removable hardtop, a rear-mounted spare tire, and chrome bumpers. The 15â?³ wheels were powder-coated and mounted with 33Ã?10. 5â?³ BFGoodrich tires during the build, which also reportedly included replacing the brake drums and shoes as well as the shocks, springs, and steering stabilizer. The front bucket seats were reupholstered in blue vinyl with houndstooth inserts during the refurbishment, which also included replacing the carpets, door panels, and headliner. The steering wheel wears an aftermarket cover and fonts a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure.
