The 2. 9-liter inline-six received oversized pistons and a performance camshaft, and the four-speed manual transmission and Laycock de Normanville overdrive were rebuilt as well. Between 2020 and 2023 the brakes were overhauled and LED lighting was installed along with an alternator conversion and a stainless-steel performance exhaust system, the blue interior and top were refreshed, and Michelin tires were mounted on the chrome Dayton wire wheels. The top boot and tonneau cover were also replaced and LED lighting was installed. Chrome Dayton 15â?³ knock-off wire wheels were mounted with Michelin XAS tires in 2023. The front disc brakes were serviced with rebuilt calipers and replacement rotors and pads within the last four years, and the master cylinder was replaced in 2019.
