Description
This 1971 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6. The car is finished in Silver Metallic over blue leather, and power comes from a 6. 3-liter V8 paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Features include a self-leveling suspension, air conditioning, 14? Bundt alloy wheels, and a Becker Mexico AM/FM Cassette stereo with a power antenna. The body is finished in Silver Metallic (180G) and features chrome bumpers with rubber impact strips, stacked sealed-beam headlamps, fog lights, a power antenna, and polished window and side moldings. The hood, fenders, quarter panels, and the trunk lid were refinished by Coachwerks Restoration in September 2020. A bubble is noted at the bottom edge of the right-front fender and there are paint imperfections on both rocker panels. Factory 14? Bundt alloy wheels were mounted with 205/70 General Altimax tires in September 2020. Service in September 2020 included overhauls of the self-leveling air suspension and braking systems, with replacement of the airbags, pump lines, hardware, calipers, rotors, pads, and flex lines, hard lines, wheel bearings, master cylinder, and fluids. The left-front tie rod was replaced in June 2020, and an alignment was performed at the same time.
