This Beck 550 Sypder is finished in silver over red leather and powered by a Raby Enterprises 1,915cc flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Features include dual EMPI carburetors, an electric fuel pump, and an electric ignition system as well as 15â?³ â??wide-fiveâ? steel wheels, front disc brakes, a plexiglass windshield, a banjo-style steering wheel, VDO instrumentation, aluminum bucket seats, Simpson racing harnesses, and a fire extinguisher. Work performed since 2022 involved refinishing the wheels, servicing the brakes, and installing JayCee pushrods. The fiberglass bodywork is mounted to a tubular steel frame and is finished in silver with white roundels on the hood, doors, and rear engine cover. A plexiglass windshield was retrofitted, and additional details include LED headlight bulbs, a fender-mounted mirror, dual engine grilles, Spyder badging, leather hood and engine cover straps, a polished fuel filler cap, and a right-side Le Mans-style marker light. An aluminum half-tonneau, a driverâ??s helmet fairing, a black canvas soft top, removable side curtains, and a glass windshield are included in the sale. Silver 15â?³ â??wide-fiveâ? steel wheels were powder-coated in June 2022 and are mounted with 185/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires showing 2017 and 2021 date codes. A spare is stowed in the engine compartment. Braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The right rear wheel cylinder, front left brake line, and rear brake lines were replaced in July 2023.
