Description
Work included the installation of steel GT-style fenders, a chassis-stiffening kit, and aftermarket suspension components as well as a rebuild of the 2. 2-liter flat-four that involved a conversion to dual Weber carburetors and the addition of a revised camshaft and oversized pistons. Repainted in orange, the car also has a five-speed manual transaxle, 15â?³ Fuchs wheels, slotted disc brakes, a black removable Targa top, fog lights, aftermarket graphics, stainless-steel heat exchangers, a push-button radio, and fixed-back bucket seats trimmed in black leatherette. Exterior details include a black removable Targa top, pop-up headlights, fog lights, dual side mirrors, chrome bumper trim, and aftermarket graphics. The 15â?³ Fuchs alloy wheels feature black centers with bright lips and are mounted with 225/60 Cooper CS5 Ultra Touring tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with slotted rotors at all four corners. The fixed-back bucket seats are trimmed in black leatherette upholstery, and other interior features include a fire extinguisher, a push-button radio, 914-branded floor mats, and Blaupunkt speakers in the footwells. A later-style steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer, a 150-mph speedometer, and a fuel level gauge. A clock and readouts for coolant temperature and voltage are located in the center stack. Total mileage is unknown.
