1966 Sunbeam Tiger Mk 1A

The car subsequently received a comprehensive refurbishment between 2007 and 2014, including a repaint in the original shade of Commodore Blue, a replacement soft top, and reupholstered interior, along with a rebuild of the 260ci V8 and overhauls of the suspension, braking, and cooling systems. Approximately 2k miles have since been added, and the car has won several awards from local shows and events. The exterior was reportedly repainted in the original Commodore Blue at Body by Hank in Watsonville, California following rust remediation, body work, and panel replacement. Additional features include polished stainless steel trim, a replacement soft top, and a Series 3 front grille. A Mk 1A front grille and bumper parts are included in the sale. Suspension refreshment was reportedly performed by ModTiger Engineering and includes upgraded springs and Koni shocks at all four corners. The braking system features a Rootes Group Depot master cylinder and powder coated front calipers. The cabin was reupholstered in blue vinyl by Award Interiors of Sacramento, California, and is equipped with bucket seats, a center console, and matching door panels.
