Description
Metal repair was performed and the body was refinished in its factory Butternut yellow, the black soft top was replaced, and a 350ci V8 crate engine was installed and mated to its rebuilt two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission. Additional service included installation of a tubular front suspension, four-wheel power-assisted disc brakes, a new wiring harness with an updated fuse box, and new 15? Rally wheels with BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, and equipment includes an RS-specific black grille with hidden headlights, front and rear spoilers, a black deluxe vinyl interior, power steering, bucket seats, a center console, and an electronic ignition system. The power-operated soft top was refurbished with new fabric and a replacement motor and cylinder, and a replacement chrome bumper was also installed. Additional exterior equipment includes front-valance-mounted turn signals, RS badges, front and rear spoilers, and back-up lights located beneath the rear bumper. An additional exterior lighting video is presented here. The interior features factory deluxe black vinyl with cream accent stripes covering the seats, along with matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include a full-length center console with a shifter handle, floor mats, a locking glove box, and bright door and window handles. The factory three-spoke RS steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 9,600 miles, with true mileage unknown. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a refurbished Powerglide two-speed automatic transmission.
