1973 Ford F-250 Ranger XLT Camper Special

Finished in Limestone Green Metallic and Wimbledon White, the truck is powered by a 390ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a quick-ratio power steering box, 16â?³ eight-hole wheels, western-style side mirrors, a lockable tool stowage box, and a sliding rear window as well as a Philco AM/FM stereo, air conditioning, and a bench seat upholstered in black vinyl. The truck left the factory finished in Limestone Green Metallic and Wimbledon White and features a chrome grille and front bumper as well as bright bodyside moldings with black vinyl inserts. Additional exterior details include a lockable tool stowage box, western-style side mirrors, a sliding rear window, and a silver-finished rear step bumper. The windshield and vent window were replaced in April 2019. The condition of the paint on the roof and hood is shown in the gallery along with a dent on the left-rear corner of the truck. Corrosion is visible on the lower edges of the cargo bed. A RedHead Steering Gears quick-ratio steering box was installed in 2022 along with a replacement power steering pump. Earlier work in November 2016 included replacing all four shocks as well as the rear brake shoes and wheel cylinders. The truck is equipped with power-assisted front disc brakes.
