1967 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ8 MkIII

The car is finished in Healey Blue over blue vinyl and powered by a numbers-matching 2. 9-liter inline-six equipped with dual SU carburetors and paired with a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. Features include a blue soft top with a matching tonneau cover, a heater, and chrome 15” knock-off wire wheels. The car was finished from the factory in Healey Blue and was repainted in 2007, at which time the cowl was re-chromed and the door seals and fender beading replaced. Noted issues include areas of corrosion on the wheel wells, rattles emanating from the splash plates, and dim Lucas headlights. Chrome 15” wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-off spinners and mounted with 165-width Vredestein Sprint Classic tires that were installed in 2015 and shaved in 2017. A full-size spare is found in the trunk. The 2+2 cabin is trimmed in blue vinyl and features silver piping on the seats along with matching door panels, carpets, and a black dash pad. The heater has reportedly been rebuilt, a push-button radio is fitted, and the car came factory-equipped with an adjustable steering column. The trunk liner, glovebox, heater switch, and window regulators have been replaced, and the passenger-side wood dash trim has been refinished.
