1959 Volkswagen Single Cab Transporter

Work included refinishing the body in Dove Blue, reupholstering the gray interior, and fitting a Busware canopy, safari front windows, rubber bed mat, and 12-volt electrical system. Power is provided by a replacement single-port 1. 6L flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and gear reduction boxes. An inspection and oil change were carried out in anticipation of the sale. The single-cab body was refinished in Dove Blue with a period-style Porsche livery graphics. A tan Busware canopy with hoops and safari front windows have also been added, and additional equipment includes sliding side windows, dual side mirrors, a pass-through storage compartment, fold-down bed sides, a rubber bed mat, and a “treasure chest” compartment. White-painted 15? steel wheels have polished hubcaps and are mounted with 185/50 Nankang CX-668 tires. Front disc brakes are equipped along with a dual circuit master cylinder. The cabin is equipped with a bench seat, door panels, and headliner that have been reupholstered in gray vinyl. Additional features include rubber floor coverings, Dove Blue sheet metal, and a rear view mirror.
