Description

This 1968 Chevrolet Camaro began life as a six-cylinder convertible produced in Norwood, Ohio, and it was acquired by the selling dealer in October 2020. Its 364ci LS2 V8 is paired with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission, and additional modifications include a limited-slip rear end, 18? wheels, adjustable coilovers, disc brakes, and aftermarket lighting. This car was originally finished in Butternut Yellow (Y) according to the trim tag, and it was repainted white during the refurbishment. Features include front and rear spoilers, HID headlights, SS-style trim, red stripes, and “LS2” graphics on the front fenders. Wilwood disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, as are Global West suspension components. Red upholstery with pleated inserts covers the front bucket seats and the rear bench. Additional modifications include a Hurst shifter, a woodgrain three-spoke steering wheel mounted to a tilting column, and a period-style modern stereo linked to a Kenwood amplifier and Hertz and Kicker speaker components. AutoMeter gauges are recessed within the stock openings and feature a digital odometer indicating that nearly 3k miles have been driven since completion of the build. True mileage is unknown. A 364ci LS2 V8 built by Turn Key Engine Supply replaces the factory inline-six and features a Turn Key air intake, an aluminum radiator equipped with dual cooling fans, and exhaust headers connected to a dual exhaust system.
