Description
Austin Healey 3000. This is a running and driving Healey. It is currently registered, licensed, and insured. I have a clear Utah title in my name. My Austin Healey has a good running, number matching, original engine. I have the "British Motor Industry Heritage Trust Certified Copy Of A Factory Record" issued in my name that confirms that the engine, transmission, paint color, wire wheels, etc.are original for my 1963 Austin Healey. It comes with factory original Owner's Manual, original Workshop Manual, and Showroom brochure. The body has been professionally restored and painted. It has a complete new brake system. New Calipers, and rear brake shoes. The original gas tank was removed, cleaned and sealed. It has all new floors, and inner-fender panels. The frame is completely rust free. It has a new stainless steel exhaust system. The engine has good oil pressure and does not overheat. (one of the photos was taken of the oil and temp gauges while it was running.) Please look closely at all of the photos. My Healey is still a restoration project, but all of the major issues have been addressed. You can drive the Healey while you complete the remaining projects.. It comes with numerous old and new spare parts. There is a complete new set of tan rugs from Moss Motors. I want this to be a good straightforward honest auction with no scams or problems. The projects to be completed are minor, but necessary: 1: the windshield wipers 2. install one of the door windows. 3. finish installing the front turn signal lens. 4. Finish the wiring for the lights. 5. Secure the rear seats. There are other minor issues, but keep in mind, it runs good, starts easily, and shifts correctly in all gears. It has a newly installed clutch slave cylinder, and comes with a new brake master cylinder. The current master cylinder works fine, but I bought a new one just in case. If you have questions, please call. It is a good 1963 Austin Healey that you can drive while you work on it. I've owned the Healey for years, and I hope it find a good home.
