Description

Over $15k in new parts were stored in boxes and used to finish the restoration. The interior was refurbished, the suspension was upgraded, and a 1,720cc big bore flat-four was built utilizing a 912 case and many performance components. He enjoys the car but does not use it as much as he would like and has decided to sell it. The finish is described as better than driver quality, with a scratch on the passenger-side front fender and a small nick on the driverâ??s front fender being the only noticeable flaws. The car was fitted with new 15â?³ powder coated Lemmerz wheels with chrome hubcaps that wear Pirelli P7 tires. Inside, the original red interior was refurbished and changed to black by Autos International Inc. New leather seats and door panels were added along with retractable seat belts, new carpets, and a new headliner. A black dash and a Les Leston wooden-rimmed steering wheel were installed. All of the VDO gauges were refurbished and recalibrated by North Hollywood Speedometer with a triple oil temp, oil pressure, and fuel gauge on the left side. The 2,830 indicated miles reflect the distance travelled since the restoration was completed. A 1,720cc big bore kit with all new valves, guides, springs, and Ti retainers was installed and paired to a stock 356 4-speed manual. The transaxle was opened and inspected, and the cooling fan was balanced.
