This 1964 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia is a modified convertible that is powered by a turbocharged 2. 3-liter Volkswagen flat-four paired with a Gene Berg Enterprises five-speed manual transaxle. The car has won several awards from events over the years and was featured in a September 2012 issue of Dune Buggies and Hot VWs. This Karmann Ghia is now offered with build records and a British Columbia registration. During the refurbishment, the body was stripped and media-blasted before being refinished in a Chrysler shade of Flame Red (PR4) by Deluxe Customs of Tempe, Arizona. The tan soft top features a glass rear window, and a brown leather top boot is included in the sale. Polished 15â? Porsche â??Phone Dialâ? wheels are wrapped in 195/55 General Altimax tires up front and 195/65 Fuzion HRi tires out back. A matching wheel is fitted as the spare in the front trunk. The brake system features four-wheel discs with cross-drilled rotors and red-finished calipers. The interior was overhauled by V.
