1963 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ7 Mk II

This 1963 Austin-Healey 3000 BJ7 Mk II is a 2+2 convertible that is powered by a 2. 9-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission with overdrive. More recent service included rebuilding the carburetors and replacement of the spark plugs. During the refurbishment the exterior was disassembled, the body panels were stripped, repairs were made and replacement panels were fitted, and the panels were treated with corrosion protection. The body was then refinished in two-tone Ice Blue Metallic and Old English White, and a replacement dark blue soft top and matching boot were fitted at the same time. The weather seals, door handles, finishers, mirrors, and light assemblies were also replaced. Chrome-finished 15? knock-off wire wheels are wrapped in Vredestein Sprint Classic tires, and braking is handled by discs with red-finished calipers up front and drums out back. The 2+2 cabin features low-back front bucket seats and dual rear seat bottoms with a shared backrest, all of which were reupholstered in blue leather in 2018. Replacement door sills and floor pans were also installed, along with insulation material and blue carpeting. Additional features include a wooden shift knob, a padded arm rest, a dashboard-mounted rear-view mirror, door panel pockets, and Austin-Healey-branded rubber floor mats.
