1971 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible LS5

The car is equipped with a single roll hoop, 15â?³ Hurricane-style wheels, side-exit exhaust pipes, and a domed hood. The front end has been modified to remove the pop-up headlights, and the body is finished in orange with darker side stripes. Additional features include electronic ignition, an electric fuel pump, a removable hardtop, and disc brakes. The car is finished in Ontario Orange (987), and an aftermarket domed hood and side stripes have been added. The pop-up headlights have been removed and filled in. A removable hardtop and side-exit exhaust pipes are installed. Hurricane-style 15â? wheels are mounted with 235/60 front and 295/50 rear Mastercraft Avenger G/T tires. Stopping power is provided by ventilated rotors at each corner, and the car is equipped with a fully independent suspension. The bucket seats were trimmed from the factory in Saddle leather. The driverâ??s seat was reinstalled in preparation for the sale, and some photos in the gallery show the removed aftermarket seat.
