The car was repainted black, and the interior was fitted with Recaro sport seats upholstered in black vinyl and microsuede along with a matching microsuede headliner, a Nakamichi CD stereo, and a GTI-style steering wheel and shift knob. A 2. 1L 16V inline-four equipped with a Haltech standalone ECU with electronic fuel injection and individual coilpacks was installed in 2013, and additional equipment includes a five-speed manual transaxle with custom gearing, a Quaife limited-slip differential, Eurosport headers, a custom exhaust, and a front strut brace. Matching upholstery extends to the rear bench, headliner, and door panels, and the floors are covered by Dynamat sound deadening, replacement carpets, and custom mats with red edging.
