1980 International Harvester Scout

I've owned this vehicle for 21 years. Over that time, I've done extensive reconditioning, restoration and customization to the vehicle. Too many parts and upgrades to recall. Here is some of the work that has been done: Started out many years ago when I replaced the electrical system with a Painless wiring system to get rid of the erratic electricals a lot of Scouts have. Replaced the body mounts and bushings then, leaf springs and shocks. Car sat for many years until my son wanted to have it around 2016. So I sent the car out to a diesel mechanic to go through all the mechanicals to make sure it was running well. We decided to have it painted then. Replaced the seats with Corbeau seats in the front and folding seat in back. New exhaust using elbow eliminator to straight pipe. Midas swivel bucket seat bases and other Scout goodies I had picked up over the years. Aftermarket wheels, General Grabber Tires. Top was repainted inside and out with bed liner. Bunch of other stuff. He drove the truck only a few months before we decided he should be driving something else. In the last few months, I've been sorting out the details to list if for sale and added a Retrosound stereo system, fog lights and onboard battery charger.
