Description
The car has been repainted in red with black accents over a red leather interior, and power is provided by a TF-sourced 1,466cc XPEG inline-four fitted with a Judson supercharger and mated to a five-speed manual transmission and a replacement rear end. Additional modifications include a late-model steering box, Alfin aluminum brake drums, front Koni shocks, and a Laystall-Lucas aluminum cylinder head. Chrome 16? wire wheels are secured with two-eared knock-offs and are wrapped in 5. 50-16 Blockley tires. Alfin aluminum drum brakes are fitted at all four corners, and a late-model steering box and Koni Classic shocks have been added up front. The right-hand-drive cabin features pre-war MG bucket seats upholstered in red leather with matching door cards over tan carpets with red piping. The seats are equipped with red lap belts, and black leather boot covers are fitted to the parking brake and shift levers. A wrapped banjo-style steering wheel fronts an engine-turned dashboard housing a driver-centered 6,500-rpm tachometer, a replacement passenger-centered 105-mph speedometer, and central auxiliary gauges. Total mileage is unknown. The TF-sourced 1,466cc XPEG inline-four was installed by AMS Racing of Bossier City, Louisiana, and is equipped with a Judson MG-26 supercharger, a Laystall-Lucas aluminum cylinder head, and an aluminum tappet and valve cover.
