Description
This 1972 Chevrolet Suburban was acquired by the selling dealer in 2011 and was subsequently rebuilt over a 1986 Suburban ¾-ton 4×4 chassis. A supercharged LQ9 6. 0-liter LS V8 reportedly was installed in 2012 along with a GM 4L60E four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The blue and white interior was redone with reupholstered late-model seats in 2012, and the exterior was refinished in blue and white in 2015. Additional modifications include a slide-out cargo bed, rear air-ride suspension, HID headlamps, front and rear parking sensors, and a Sony touchscreen head unit with Apple CarPlay capability and a backup camera. Additional exterior features include two doors on the passenger side of the vehicle and one on the driver side, red-painted passenger steps, and a split tailgate. White-painted 16? steel wheels with chromed hubcaps are wrapped in 265/75 Michelin LTX tires. Air-ride suspension components have been installed at the rear. The interior was refurbished in 2012 with replacement blue carpeting over Dynamat sound dampening, and seats from a late-model Chevrolet pickup have been installed and reupholstered in two-tone blue and white with matching door panels. A custom two-tone headliner was installed along with replacement kick panels with speaker inserts, and additional amenities include heated front seats, power-adjustability for the driver seat, a tilting steering column, updated air conditioning, power windows and locks, and a backup camera.
