Description
The multi-year project included stripping, repairing, and refinishing the Michelotti-designed body, as well reupholstering the interior. The straight-six engine was subsequently rebuilt to 2. 5 liters in 2017, and is also equipped with a TR6 cylinder head, performance camshaft, and triple Weber carburetors. Additional features of the car include a T-9 five-speed transmission, aluminum radiator, electronic ignition, chrome wire wheels, high-back seats, and a Nardi steering wheel. Nearly 100 pages of invoices can be viewed in the gallery and outline more than $70k of work carried out since 2008. The Mark II GT6 was introduced for the 1969 model year with revised styling, including a raised front bumper, redesigned front end, and vents on the clamshell hood and C-pillars. The updated model was referred to in the US as the GT6+. Close-up photos in the gallery show the brightwork, Triplex-etched glass, and paint blemishes. Exterior features include a passenger side-mirror, Union Jack badges on the bonnet, and chrome ANSA exhaust tips. Chrome 13â?³ wire wheels are secured with two-ear knock-offs and wear 175/70 Sumitomo HTR 200 tires.
