1970 BMW 2800CS 3.5-Liter 5-Speed

This 1970 BMW 2800CS is finished in Baikal Blue over a tan leather interior and powered by a 3. 5-liter M30 inline-six paired with a five-speed manual transmission. 5:1 pistons, and a 288º camshaft, as well a paint refresh, replacing the suspension bushings, servicing the cooling system, and more. The car is finished in Baikal Blue, and the hood, upper front fenders, pillars, and rear decklid were repainted and paint corrected by Metro Detailing Specialists of San Diego in 2019. New hood and trunk seals have been fitted, and both panels sit slightly high due to the new seals. European CS turn signal lenses and a new windshield washer assembly have also been installed. The rocker panels were removed to address rust, and several areas of the floors shown in the image gallery were also repaired. The A-pillars were scoped prior to re-assembly. Both the front window regulators and the right rear regulator have been replaced, with a reported 11 hours spent bringing them into adjustment. A staggered set of 16� Coupe King Alpina-style wheels are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3 tires, and suspension modifications include Bilstein Sport dampers and La Jolla Independent lowering springs.
