A refurbishment carried out between 2003 and 2004 included a repaint in Orient Red and reupholstered black interior, along with rebuilding the 2. 3-liter inline-six and resealing the four-speed automatic transmission. Additional work consisted of replacing the soft top, refinishing the interior wood trim, and overhauling the brakes, suspension, fuel system, and more. The body was reportedly refinished in its factory shade of Orient Red (501) during the refurbishment. The body seals were replaced at this time, along with the glass, chrome trim, grille, and lenses. A paint-matched removable hardtop is included in the sale, and a replacement black soft top is stowed beneath the rear body work. Body-colored 14? steel wheels wear chrome trim rings and hubcaps and are wrapped in Dunlop tires. The braking system was also serviced with a replacement master cylinder, calipers, wheel cylinders, brake pads and shoes, hoses, front rotors, and parking brake cable. The seats were fitted with new foam pads and reupholstered in black, and a replacement dash cover, headliner, and charcoal carpeting were also installed. The wood trim was refinished, and equipment includes lap belts, a heater and defroster, and a Becker Europa stereo with an automatic antenna.
