Description
This 1974 Toyota Land Cruiser underwent a 30-month body-off refurbishment begun in 2004 by BTB Products of Henderson, Nevada and finished by TLC of Chatsworth, California. Power comes from a 5. 7-liter Vortec V8 crate engine paired with a four-speed automatic transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and the truck has been refinished in beige and white with a custom black and gray interior. Additional modifications include four-wheel disc brakes, manually-locking Warn front hubs, power steering, Rancho 9000 shocks, Weld Racing wheels, MagnaFlow catalytic converters and mufflers, air conditioning, a custom stereo, and more. A new fuel pump was installed in 2019. The 2000s refurbishment was begun by BTB Products in 2004 and completed in 2007 by TLC, which is run by ICON founder Jonathan Ward. The truck received the shopâ??s â??Stage Three Restorationâ? with work such as powder-coating the chassis, repainting the body in beige and white, and installation of new bumpers, glass, seals, and more. Aluminum 16â?³Â Weld Racing wheels wear BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires and are mounted over manually-locking Warn hubs up front. Power-assisted disc brakes are fitted at all four corners, and the truck has also been fitted with a custom power steering setup. Suspension modifications include a leaf spring lift with Rancho 9000 shocks.
