Description
This Ford Mustang Mach 1 was assembled on January 16, 1969 in the San Jose, California plant and was originally delivered to the Twin Cities ordering district in Minnesota. Powered by a 428ci R-code Cobra Jet V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission, the car was disassembled in the late 1990s before being refinished in blue with a black hood. Features include a black interior, a Vintage Air climate-control system, a shaker hood scoop, a louvered rear window, a rear wing, 14? Magnum 500–style wheels, and front disc brakes. The car was delivered new in Acapulco Blue (3077-A) with a pinned flat-black hood. The driver-side rear quarter panel was replaced when the exterior was refinished from 1998 to 1999. Features include a front lip, a shaker hood scoop, rear window louvers, quarter-panel scoops, a rear wing, dual exhaust outlets, and Mach 1 side stripes. Magnum 500–style wheels measure 14? in diameter and are mounted with 225/70 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The power-assisted brake system utilizes discs up front and drums at the rear. The interior features high-back front bucket seats with black upholstery and red accents. The black carpeting is protected by red floor mats, and several other mats will accompany the car, as shown in the photo gallery.
