15K-Mile 1990 Ferrari 348 TS

This 1990 Ferrari 348 Targa is a very clean mile example with 14,900 miles that is stock and unmodified with a clean Carfax report. Original Rosso Corsa paint is in very good condition matched with an excellent tan leather interior. The car last received a major engine-out cam belt service in 2001 at 9k miles and has been driven around 6k miles since. Everything works including cold A/C and the car is sold with its original leather cased took kit, original books, and a small history file from new. The last oil change was 800 miles ago.The 348 replaced the 328 in 1989. This car was produced in September 1990 and sold new in Texas and the Carfax shows it stayed in the central U.S under a handful of owners before being acquired by the seller out of Illinois. The Pininfarina design has aged well and as the photos show the car is in excellent condition with a just a few touched-up rock chips that are difficult to spot.The 348 emblem has been removed, but is included along with the factory pedal covers. Pirelli P Zero tires have good tread remaining. The previous owner won a few local Chicagoland show awards with the car which are viewable below.The seller provides good interior detail shots which showcase the condition well. Seats looks very fresh with a few small scuff marks but limited wear overall (flaws pictured below). Note the clean leather stitching around the console and dash.Orange Veglia instruments complement the stock 3-spoke steering wheel and gated shifter of the transverse manual 5-speed gearbox.Note the upclose shots of switches, heater venter and controls. The seller says the heater, A/C, and all electric climate control buttons function. All of the infamous â??Sticky Partsâ? have been refinished.The car features its original 3.4-liter, quad-cam, four-valve-per-cylinder V8 engine that was rated at 300HP when new. A major service was performed in 2001 when the car was in Missouri, and based on time the car should be due for another belt service before adding serious miles. The last fluid change was less than 1000 miles ago. Around 4000 348 Targas were produced in total.
