65K-Mile 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo Coupe

This 1997 Porsche 911 Turbo is an unmodified 65k mile example with original paint being offered by its second owner. The seller bought the car a year ago from the original owner, an acquaintance of his, and has driven it around 3500 miles since. Front brake rotors and pads were replaced as part of the 60k mile service in 2013, which also included new drive belts and rear engine lid struts.The door check straps were replaced by a high-end specialty body shop earlier this year, a common issue with 993s. Only the inside of the a-pillars needed to be repainted and the repair is said to be undetectable. The original twist wheels currently have â??turboâ? logo caps installed but the original Porsche crest caps are included. Fog lights were recently replaced with OEM Porsche parts.The interior is very clean and well cared for and includes the upgraded â??Supple leatherâ? seat upholstery option in Classic Grey. The original Porsche Digital Sound Package stereo with remote 6-CD changer works well.The original Porsche CR-210 radio remains in place along with stock door speakers. Carpets and dash are in excellent condition and the sunroof was serviced and the headliner repaired in 2013.Mechanically the car is completely stock with no modifications. A compression check was performed at 62,000 miles and all 6 cylinders ranged from 148-152 PSI. Last month the clutch accumulator and upper and lower valve cover gaskets were replaced in preparation for sale.The car was sold new at Barrier Porsche in Bellevue, WA where the original owner claims he had all recommended service and repairs performed, though most of the receipts were lost. It has seen its share of rain but never snow or road salt. The undercarriage is clean and free of any signs of corrosion.
