1949 Fiat 500B Topolino

Power is provided by a 569cc overhead-valve inline-four paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes a retractable black fabric roof panel, cowl vents, and sliding side windows, as well as a factory taillamp assembly affixed to the rear license plate bracket. 15? steel wheels feature lighter tan centers with body-color lips and are fitted with Fiat-branded hubcaps and Kleber V12 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel drums that were serviced in preparation for sale. The seats, door panels, and rear interior panels are upholstered in beige cloth complemented by black rubberized floor mats and body-color painted metal surfaces. 1950s and 1960s registration tags are adhered on the back side of the rear-view mirror. The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a black-finished instrument panel with a 110-km/h speedometer and a combination fuel level and oil gauge, with a band-style Svama temperature gauge to the left of the main cluster. Compared to the preceding 500A, the 500B’s 569cc inline-four retained the same displacement, but gained an overhead-valve cylinder head which increased output from 13 to 16 horsepower when new. Induction is handled by a single Weber carburetor with a factory air cleaner housing, and the car has been fitted with Gates cooling system hoses.
