Description
The brushed-stainless-steel body panels are mounted to a Lotus-derived backbone chassis, and the interior is trimmed in black leather. Power is provided by a 2. 85-liter PRV V6 paired with a five-speed manual transaxle, and features include gullwing doors, rear window louvers, power windows and door locks, and a Craig cassette deck. Service performed in 2019 reportedly included an oil change and replacing the fuel filter, fuel pump, and fuel lines. The Giugiaro-designed DMC-12 features brushed-stainless-steel panels mounted on a fiberglass underbody and a Lotus-Esprit-derived steel backbone chassis. The 14â?³ front and 15â?³ rear turbine-style wheels wear Goodyear NCT HR60 tires. Braking is from discs at all four corners. The two-seat cockpit is upholstered in black and features leather bucket seats, a three-spoke steering wheel, a Craig AM/FM cassette stereo, a retractable antenna, air conditioning, and power windows and door locks. Instrumentation includes an 85-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for voltage, temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The rear-mounted 2,849cc V6 was designed and built by PRV, a joint venture between Peugeot, Renault, and Volvo, and produced 130 horsepower and 153 lb-ft of torque when new.
