Description

This 1956 Dodge Power Wagon is reportedly an ex-US military truck that spent time in Arizona before relocating to Utah. The truck was repainted in two-tone burgundy and black over a reupholstered tan interior, and its 230ci L-head inline-six was also reportedly rebuilt. Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case, and additional service included replacement of the clutch and refurbishment of the axles and braking system. Equipment includes a winch, a cab heater, a wood-lined bed, and a fold-out windshield. During the refurbishment, the fenders and tailgate were replaced with reproduction pieces from Vintage Power Wagons, and the body was finished in burgundy with black fenders and headlight buckets. Equipment includes a fold-out windshield, dual body-mounted auxiliary lights, chrome badges, a wood-lined bed, and a front-mounted winch. Black-finished 16â?³ steel wheels wear replacement Firestone Military tires, and a full-sized spare wheel and tire are mounted on the right side of the bed. The cab features a tan bench seat, a body-color painted dashboard, and black-finished door panels and diamond-plate floors. A Mopar Model 75 Truck Master under-dashboard heater is fitted, and the manual crank windows are joined by forward vent windows. The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 80-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the dashboard include readouts for oil pressure, coolant temperature, amperage, and fuel level.
