Description
This 1941 Cadillac Series 62 convertible is finished in maroon over tan with a tan canvas top, and its 346ci L-head V8 is paired with a Hydra-Matic automatic transmission. More recent service in September 2019 totaling nearly $4k included rebuilding the carburetor as well as replacing the gas tank, fuel pump, fuel lines, brakes, and master cylinder. The Series 62 convertible sits astride a 126â?³ wheelbase and was the only two-door convertible offering from Cadillac in 1941. Fender skirts were a factory option, and the wide whitewalls are Firestone tube tires with 2001 date codes. The vacuum-operated convertible top can be seen closing in this video. The interior is upholstered in tan vinyl with matching material on the door panels, and a tan canvas top boot is present. A new temperature gauge was installed in September 2019. The factory radio is inoperable. The 90-degree L-head V8 displaces 346 cubic inches and was factory rated at 150 horsepower at 3,400 rpm. It is paired with a four-speed Hydra-Matic automatic transmission.
