1958 Chevrolet Corvette

This is a 1958 Corvette with a non matching 350 engine and a 4-spd transmission. The body has been off the frame and the frame is mint. The body on the car is nice, but I believe it may have an aftermarket nose and maybe some other body panels as well. The two tone paint is also quite good, but there is one deep scratch on one of the coves. There is a good soft top frame and new convertible top fabric is included along with new weatherstripping and cork. The car runs well, but it needs further restoration before anyone could put it on the road. I had new exhaust put on, but it was a set from a '61-62 so the correct tail pipe needs to be installed. The interior is weak. I do not have the trunk spears. There is no door glass. This car is the perfect candidate for a resto mod conversion. The number one corvette to resto mod is the '63 split window and the number two is a '58. It could make a killer resto mod without much work. I have a lot of money in this car, but it still needs quite a bit. It has a clear open title. If you are looking for a '58 to do up than this may be the car for you.
