1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351

This 1971 Ford Mustang Boss 351 was built in February 1971 and delivered new to Babylon Ford on New York’s Long Island. The car is finished in yellow with black accents over a black vinyl interior and is powered by a 351ci Cleveland V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Modifications include a Holley carburetor, aftermarket headers, and an X-pipe exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers. The SportsRoof body was repainted in Grabber Yellow (D) in 2014, and the black vinyl side stripes were replaced. Exterior features include a black Dual Ram Induction hood, a black front spoiler and rear wing, Boss 351 decals, and chrome bumpers. Magnum 500 15? wheels are wrapped in 225/60 BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires. The Boss 351 included power front disc brakes and a competition suspension with staggered rear shocks. The steering box was rebuilt in January 2020. The cabin features an optional Mach 1 Sports Interior that was refurbished by RDW Automotive of Reno, Nevada. The interior package included high-back bucket seats, knitted black vinyl inserts and gray accent stripes, bright pedal trim, molded door panels, and woodgrain dashboard appliques.
