A subsequent refurbishment performed by Warren Defender in Houston, Texas included repowering the truck with a 2. 5-liter turbodiesel inline-four linked with an R380 five-speed manual transmission and a replacement dual-range transfer case, repairing and coating the frame, overhauling the suspension, refinishing the bodywork in red, and retrimming the interior in black leather. Additional equipment includes a black bikini top, 16� steel wheels, half doors, air conditioning, and a Bluetooth-capable sound bar. With the body removed from the frame, chassis repairs were made and a rust inhibitor was applied before the stripped aluminum bodywork was refinished in red and reassembled with a replacement Puma bulkhead and new half doors as well as fresh door latches, catches, fasteners, and seals. The checkered black trim and roll bar were powdercoated black and additional exterior details include a black bikini top, an intake snorkel, LED lighting, front and rear light grilles, dual side mirrors, tubular side steps, and black fender flares. Black 16� steel wheels wheels are mounted with 315/75 Cooper Discovery STT Pro tires. The lifted suspension features RTE-FAB caster-corrected front arms, A-arm extensions, extended rear arms, and an adjustable panhard rod along with a Bilstein steering damper, Old Man Emu shocks and springs, YRM stainless-steel fittings, and Polybush urethane bushings. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. The cab features replacement ExMoor seats trimmed in black leather joined by an ExMoor center console and carpets. Appointments include air conditioning, dual cupholders, and a sound bar mounted between the seats and rear bulkhead.
