Description

The car was modified by HP Motorsports of Huntington Park, California for track duty, and features a 363ci Ford small-block V8 paired with a Jerico four-speed Toploader transmission and a full-floating 9â?³ rear end with crowned axles. Additional modifications include a chromoly eight-point roll cage, a fire suppression system, a carbon fiber driveshaft, Cobra Automotive front suspension, Penske shocks, a 22-gallon fuel cell, a stainless dual exhaust system, modified bodywork, and more. An oil change and valve adjustment were performed in December 2019. The car was repainted in three-stage black following installation of a replacement front clip from a donor car. The work was reportedly performed on a UniJig chassis table with custom jigs, and a bill of sale for the donor clip will accompany the car. A new grille, door handles, window trim, taillights, and Raydot mirrors were installed along with a GT350R-style front valance and quarter windows, while the fenders and quarter panels were modified for tire clearance. The front turn signals were moved behind the grille, a vented plexiglass rear window was fitted, and the door glass was replaced with window nets. Vintage Wheelworks 15â?³x8â?³ wheels are mounted with Goodyear Blue Streak racing tires, while a set of PS Vintage Engineering wheels in the same size with used Blue Streaks is included in the sale. Running gear modifications include Cobra Automotive front suspension, Penske shocks, aluminum front strut rods, a hollow front sway bar, and Evergreen narrow leaf springs mono-balled with a watts link. Braking is handled by 11â?³ rear drums and Cobra Automotive front disc brakes with Thunderbird calipers and R-4 pads.
