Description
The car is finished in white over a tri-colored interior, and additional equipment includes a quick-ratio steering box, adjustable coilovers, sway bars, front disc brakes, a hood scoop, side-exit exhaust pipes, and widened steel wheels with white-letter Goodyear tires. The car was fitted with a bubble-top roof sourced from a 1961 Chevrolet Impala during the initial build and was subsequently painted white with period-style racing decals on both sides. Exterior features include a functional Super-Duty hood scoop along with dual side-exit exhaust pipes. Widened black-painted steel wheels are mounted with white-letter Goodyear tires. Stopping power is provided by front discs and rear drums. The cabin features two rows of bench seats that were reupholstered in blue vinyl with black and white stripes by CJ’s Upholstery of Greenback, Tennessee. Black rubber mats line the blue carpets, and the radio and heater have been deleted. A two-spoke steering wheel with a chrome horn ring sits ahead of a horizontal 120-mph speedometer while a Pontiac-branded 7k-rpm tachometer is mounted on the A-pillar. Total mileage is unknown. The 421ci Pontiac Super-Duty V8 was built by Jim Taylor Engine Service of Philipsburg, New Jersey around 2009 and features dual Edelbrock 500-cfm four-barrel carburetors along with an Offenhauser aluminum intake manifold, a stainless-steel exhaust system with Flowmaster mufflers, Eagle forged connecting rods, Keith Black pistons, a TFX solid lifter camshaft, high-output ported cylinder heads with ARP studs, and more as outlined on an invoice provided in the gallery.
