1955 Studebaker President Speedster

Year: 1955 Make: Studebaker Model:President Finished in two-tone green and yellow paintwork over yellow leather upholstery, it is powered by a 259ci V8 mated to a three-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. Additional equipment includes power-assisted steering, dual exhaust outlets, front fog lamps, and steel wheels with wire-style covers. Work since 2019 has included replacement of the brake master cylinder, points, spark plugs, starter, fuel pump, and timing-cover gaskets. This car is finished in two-tone green and yellow and was repainted during the aforementioned refurbishment. Equipment includes front fog lamps with yellow lenses as well as wind splits, Speedster badging, dual exhaust outlets, and dual side mirrors. Yellow-finished 15� steel wheels wear bright-finished wire-style covers and are mounted with BFGoodrich Silvertown whitewall tires. A matching spare is housed in the trunk. The power-assisted four-wheel drum braking system was fitted with a replacement master cylinder in 2019, while one front wheel cylinder and both rear wheel cylinders were replaced in June 2023. The quilted yellow leather front seats were re-dyed in late 2023 to match the rest of the upholstery that had been redone during the refurbishment. Matching leather covers the door panels, and the floors are lined with green carpeting.
