Description
The 351ci Windsor V8 was bored and stroked to displace 408ci, and it is linked to a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an 8â?³ limited-slip differential. Additional equipment includes a replacement power-operated blue soft top with a glass rear window, chrome 17â?³ Foose wheels, four-wheel disc brakes, rack-and-pinion steering, and a Top Flight Automotive Grab-A-Trak suspension kit in addition to a Billet Specialties steering wheel, white Velocity Series gauges from Classic Instruments, a Mustang-branded stereo, Classic Auto Air climate control, and custom leather upholstery on the front bucket seats, rear bench, and trunk walls. A valve adjustment and oil change were completed in preparation for the sale, and the starter, battery, distributor cap, spark plugs, and plug wires were replaced. The rear roof bow for the replacement power-operated blue convertible top has been shortened by 2â?³, and the rear valance has been modified to accommodate quad exhaust outlets. Turn signal indicators are present in the hood vents. Foose 17â?³ five-spoke wheels are clad in chrome and mounted over power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled and slotted rotors at each corner. The Top Flight Automotive Grab-A-Trak suspension kit adds KYB shocks as well as an oversized front sway bar. Rack-and-pinion steering was also fitted during the refurbishment. The bolstered front bucket seats and rear bench have been reupholstered in blue leather with ventilation grommets and Mustang insignias on the backrests. Matching upholstery extends to the two-tone door panels, and the door jambs have been smoothed and fitted with stainless-steel guards.
