1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe Club Coupe

This 1950 Plymouth Special Deluxe club coupe was refurbished and modified in 2010â??2011 by Walker Autoworks Inc of Bermuda Dunes, California. A fuel-injected Chevrolet 350ci LT1 V8 was installed along with a 700R4 four-speed automatic transmission, the frame was powdercoated, and the body was refinished in two-tone silver and black over gray leather upholstery. Other equipment includes steel wheels with hubcaps and trim rings as well as whitewall tires, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, front coilovers, rack-and-pinion steering, a modified cooling system, dual exhaust, aftermarket headlights, yellow driving lights, high-back front bucket seats, air conditioning, tilt steering, and a Kenwood eXcelon head unit. The selling dealer acquired the car in May 2024, and the fuel pump and the temperature gauge were replaced in preparation for the sale. The body-off refurbishment involved the car being stripped and repainted in silver with a black roof following rust repair that saw the rocker panels being rebuilt and the inner and outer floors repaired.
