1971 DeTomaso Pantera Project

This 1971 DeTomaso Pantera is finished in red over a black interior and is equipped with a 351ci Cleveland V8 mated to a ZF five-speed manual transaxle. Features include an Edelbrock intake manifold and a 700 cfm Holley four-barrel carburetor, as well as 15â?³ Campagnolo wheels, split black bumpers, a lowered driverâ??s floor, and a period Alpine cassette deck. The Ghia-designed body is finished in red and features dual side mirrors, black split bumpers front and rear, hood vents, and a GTS exhaust system with quad chrome tips. The wipers have been removed, and close-up photos in the gallery show blemishes on the nose and bubbling on the rear spoiler lip. 15â?³ Campagnolo Technomagnesio wheels are mounted with 2005 Dunlop G/T Qualifier tires measuring 225/50 upfront and and 295/50 out back. Handwritten notes list modifications including a street performance braking system, Koni shocks, polyurethane suspension bushings, adjustable rear upper control arms, a 7/8â?³ rear sway bar, and more. The driverâ??s section of the floor pan has been dropped for a lower seating position, and the cabin is trimmed in black with matching carpets and door panels. Simpson four-point harnesses have been added and an Alpine cassette player is connected to aftermarket speakers in the doors. The panel on the center stack for the switches and VDO instrumentation is ajar and the engine cover behind the seats is removed but is included.
