Description
This 1978 Chevrolet Blazer Cheyenne is finished in silver over Firethorn plaid cloth and vinyl, and its 400ci V8 is paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional features include a removable black hardtop, 15? steel wheels with beauty rings, a tow-hitch receiver, high-back bucket seats, a folding rear seat, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilting steering column, and a Delco AM/FM stereo. Service has since included changing the fluids as well as replacing the exhaust and tires. The truck was delivered new in Saratoga Silver and was reportedly repainted by the selling dealer, at which time replacement wheel arch trim and black vinyl center sections were added. Features include a removable black hardtop, rubber front bumper guards, and an aftermarket tow hitch receiver. The selling dealer states that the brakes were upgraded when the towing equipment was added. The Firethorn interior features high-back front bucket seats and a folding rear bench seat with orange and red plaid inserts as well as a red dashboard, door panels, and carpets. A Pioneer head unit is housed in the center console, while the factory AM/FM stereo remains in the dashboard. Other equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, “Cheyenne” badging, and a Powertrac brake controller mounted beneath the dashboard. A two-spoke steering wheel mounted on a tilting column sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges.
