1972 Triumph TR-6 Blue

TR-6. This car is finished in it's original, rare, and handsome color scheme of Sapphire Blue with Black trim. This nice specimen shows perfect body panel gaps, no rust or accidents. The bodywork and paint on this car appear quite superb, way above the average of other TR-6 restorations. The panels all fit perfectly, per factory. The bodywork is extremely straight without blemish, and the show quality paintwork hardly shows any signs of use since the car was completed. The car's brightwork is equally in excellent order showing newly replated bumpers front and back, new rear light assemblies, refinished wheels/new tires with new stainless beauty rims, new windshield gasket and other rubber seals. The car's interior received a major total retrim including new carpets, panel kit, arm bars, dash pads, top pad, center console, knobs, exotic light wood dashboard, crisp instruments, modern (but original-looking) radio, restored/rebuilt leather hide seats, 3-point inertia reel seat belts, new cloth top and tonneau, perfect original top boot. The car's engine compartment is well detailed, clean, and appears to be it's very nice original Sapphire Blue paintwork. Mechanically very good to excellent, this car starts, runs, drives, steers, stops very well, as expected, and has been fully mechanically sorted by a specialist, chasing down and rectifying any issues. Noted improvements include a full stainless steel exhaust system, re-bushed front suspension with upgraded Teflon bushes and shock absorbers, rebuilt braking system, rear telescopic shock conversion kit. The car still retains it's original Michelin Red Line spare tire, jack, workshop manual, car cover.
