Description

This 1956 Jaguar XK140 MC Fixed Head Coupe is a left-hand-drive model that was delivered new to New York. It is believed that the car spent time in Southern California before being moved to the Pacific Northwest in the 1980s, and at some point in the 1990s the car was disassembled for a restoration. The body remains stripped after rust repair was performed, the frame was powdercoated, and the suspension was replaced. 16? wire wheels are mounted with factory knock-off hubs, and the removed numbers-matching engine and transmission are included with the car along with removed body panels, trim pieces, refurbished components, a new wiring harness, and more. Delivered new in Cream over red, the car was stripped to metal at some point in the 1990s. Rust repair was performed around that time, and some of the body panels were finished in a protective primer. The car rolls on 16? wire wheels, which are mounted with two-ear Jaguar knock-offs and wear Dayton tires. The engine is removed from the car, and a stainless-steel Falcon exhaust system has been loosely fitted. Additional photos of the frame, steering components, suspension, and underside are provided in the gallery. A four-speed manual transmission, crankshaft, pistons, carburetors, intake manifold, exhaust manifolds, and other associated parts are depicted in the gallery.
