Description
Work included a repaint in the factory shade of Twilight Turquoise, along with interior refreshment, a rebuild of the 289ci V8, and installation of a Flowmaster dual exhaust system, Rally-Pac gauges, 15â?³ Torq Thrust wheels, and more. Shifting is through a four-speed manual transmission, and additional equipment includes power steering, an AM radio, and a power-operated soft top. The body received a bare-metal repaint in its factory shade of Twilight Turquoise in 2002. The hood and bumpers were replaced at this time, and a rear valence from a Mustang GT and chrome quarter panel trim pieces were added. American Racing 15â?³ Torq Thrust wheels with polished lips wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires that measure 215/60 at all four corners. The cabin features two-tone Aqua and White vinyl upholstery, along with matching door panels and chrome accents. Instrumentation includes a horizontal-sweep 120-mph speedometer, as well as a Rally-Pac clock and tachometer mounted on the steering column. True mileage is unknown. The C-code 289ci V8 was reportedly rebuilt by Gilroy Automotive Machine in Gilroy, California in 2001 and is equipped with a two-barrel carburetor, chrome valve covers, and a chrome air cleaner housing, as well as an upgraded five-blade radiator fan. An oil change was performed in May 2020.
