1931 Ford Model A

6Up for sale is my 1931 Ford Model A pickup hot rod. We'll start with the fun stuff first. The motor is a 8ba ford flathead v8. Its got a good rumble and sounds hot like a hot rod should. It has headers, aluminum edelbrock heads, and a 4 barrel intake. its backed by a modern automatic with a lokar shifter, so it has all the looks of a manual, without the hassle of one. Out back is a ford 8" rearend with middle gears. Good for in town cruising or long distance trips. This runs, drives, stops, just like it should. The chassis started out as a stock model A which was tweaked here and there to turn it into a hot rod frame. Up front is a tube drop axle and hair pins. Front brakes are discs, rear brakes are drums. I don't remember what the steering box is from, but its modern. Brakes and steering all work very good. The body looks super sharp. Whoever did the body definitely knew what they were doing. As you can see in the pictures it sparkles. The wood in the box and the polished strips, look new. The bumpers, grill, etc are all in very good shape. This is a super nice pickup.Just for extra room the stock bench seat was not used. This has a set of custom slim/low profile buckets. The seats are very comfortable and work great for guys who are not short and thin as a rail like you have to be if you use a stock seat. The door panels, headliner, panels behind the seat, etc are very simple, but look nice. I really don't want to sell this, but I'm losing storage so something has to go.
