Description
Year: 1957 Make: Volvo Model:TP21 Finished in green over green upholstery, the truck is powered by a 3. 7-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and locking front and rear differentials. Additional equipment includes 16â?³ steel wheels, a pop-out windshield, a roof hatch, a rear bicycle rack, and towing points. Assembled for military use in Sweden from 1953 to 1958, the TP21 was based on the civilian PV830/PV831. The bodywork from the cowl rearward was retained, while the frame was shortened to increase off-road capabilities. Further exterior details include a pop-out windshield, a roof-mounted antenna, side steps, mud flaps, a rear bicycle rack, and towing points. The headlights, brake lights, and running lights are inoperative. Body-color 16â?³ steel wheels are mounted with 9â?³-wide Petlas tires, while a full-size spare is stored at the rear. The truck rides on semi-elliptical springs and double-action telescopic shocks. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes.
